Knihovnícka profesiaknižnično-informačná vedavysoké školyvzdelávanie
Výuka informatiky má na Fakultě informatiky a statistiky VŠE v Praze dlouholetou tradici. Ke dvěma již zavedeným oborům („Aplikovaná informatika“ a „Multimédia v ekonomické praxi“) přibyl od školního roku 2016/2017 nový obor – „Informační média a služby.“ Nový obor reaguje na nové potřeby praxe a nové výzvy, jež svět informací vytváří.
Studijní obor IMES je určen pro výchovu odborníků schopných vykonávat odborné činnosti a řešit konkrétní problémy informační praxe spjaté se všemi etapami životního cyklu informace. Pro obor je typické úzké sepětí teoretických poznatků spojené se získáváním praktických dovedností a cílenou profesní přípravu umožňující okamžitou uplatnitelnost na trhu práce. V současnosti (březen 2018) obor vkročil do druhé poloviny první realizace, první absolventi budou ve školním roce 2018/2019.
Information media and Services
Informatics education has a long tradition at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the University of Economics in Prague. Two already established study programs (“Applied Informatics” and “Multimedia in Economic Practice”) were extended by the third program – “Information Media and Services” since the school year 2016/2017. The new study program responds to the new needs of the practice and the new challenges created by the world of information.
The IMES program is designed for the education of professionals capable of carrying out professional activities and addressing specific problems of information practice related to all stages of the information lifecycle. The program is characterized by a close connection of the theoretical knowledge associated with the acquisition of practical skills and targeted professional preparation allowing for immediate applicability in the labor market. At present (March 2018), the program went into the second half of the first realization, the first graduates will be in the school year 2018/2019.
