ISIL – Medzinárodný štandardný identifikátor pre knižnice a príbuzné organizácie/International Standard Identifier for Libraries and Related Organizations, ISO 15511: 2011

Zdieľanie údajov a zdrojov medzi knižnicami, príbuznými organizáciami, vrátane archívov, múzeí, vládnych agentúr,vzdelávacích inštitúcií a firiem sa dramaticky zvýšilo. Táto nová spolupráca vytvorila potrebu pre štruktúrovaný medzinárodný štandardný identifikátor pre rôzne organizácie, predovšetkým pre knižnice a iné príbuzné organizácie.

The article presents the information on possibilities how to use the ISIL – International standard identifier for libraries and related organizations. It presents the suggestion on how to draft the ISIL code for the Slovak republic and the information on its use, in particular in the libraries in the Slovak republic, but also in other related organizations, and on the ISIL centre for the Slovak republic in the Slovak national library.
