Prieskumy zamerané na absolventov patria medzi jedinečné nástroje, prostredníctvom ktorých možno ostať v kontakte s bývalými študentmi, či získať cenné informácie o ponúkanom štúdiu a možnostiach uplatnenia po jeho absolvovaní. Katedra knižničnej a informačnej vedy Filozofickej fakulty Univerzity Komenského v Bratislave realizuje prieskumy svojich absolventov pravidelne, hneď po skončení štúdia prostredníctvom facebookovej stránky katedry a taktiež komplexne dotazníkovými prieskumami, ktoré sa realizujú vo väčších časových intervaloch.

Reflexion of graduates to the Study in the field of “Library and information studies” at the department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Arts, Comenius university, Bratislava

The paper presents the results of the survey involving graduates who graduated at the Department of Library and Information Science (Faculty of Arts, Comenius University, Bratislava) between the years 2007 and 2017. The questionnaire survey was conducted in September 2017. The authors describe the main findings concerning the work experience of graduates during their study, professional carrier after the graduation and usage of obtained skills and knowledge in their professional life. The paper shows the preferred reasons for choosing the current job of the graduates, their evaluation of the study and suggestions for the next improvement.
