Informačný prieskum v hudbe je v súčasnosti neustále sa rozvíjajúca interdisciplinárna veda, ktorá poskytuje používateľovi možnosť jednoduchej a efektívnej identifikácie akejkoľvek neznámej hudby prostredníctvom rôznych systémov.

Cieľom príspevku je oboznámiť čitateľa s touto interdisciplinárnou vedou, priblížiť rôzne typy informácií v hudbe, problémy a výzvy, ktoré sa spájajú s vývojom systémov pre informačný prieskum v hudbe a priblížiť konkrétne systémy na identifikáciu hudby Shazam a SoundHound.

How is it possible to reverse the decreasing trend of library and reading popularity? The answer has been given by the students of the Department of Library and Information Science in Bratislava. For the purpose of research with students, the methods of active research and positive change were utilized and the feasibility of their ideas validated by the interview with librarians.

Both groups identified a lot of solutions, focused mainly on the library marketing. Surprisingly, the students and librarians agreed on many possibilities of their mutual cooperation. The possible change of the current situation in libraries can be seen in the agreement of two generations.
