Cieľom príspevku je oboznámiť s kritériami hodnotenia digitálnych repozitárov podľa certifikácie Data Seal of Approval (DSA). Certifikát slúži ako „záruka“ dôvery pre dané kľúčové skupiny, ktoré využívajú či odovzdávajú dáta do cieľového repozitára. DSA predstavuje pomerne jednoduchý spôsob auditu a certifikácie, najmä pre začínajúce repozitáre či repozitáre menšieho rozsahu. Popísané sú pôvodné a pripravované Zásady DSA a podrobne spísané sú potrebné podklady a doklady, ktoré bude repozitár potrebovať pre svoju úspešnú certifikáciu.

Certification of a repository Against the Data Seal of Approval

The aim of this paper is to introduce evaluation criteria of digital repositories by the Data Seal of Approval (DSA) certification. A certificate serves as a “guarantee” of trustworthiness for designated communities or data producers submitting data into the target repository. DSA is a relatively easy mean of audit and certification, especially for starting repositories or repositories of a smaller scale. The former DSA guidelines, as well as the ones being prepared, are described along with a detailed list of documents and evidence that the repository needs for its successful certification.
